WE BELIEVE
We are a full gospel fellowship, following the command of Jesus in Mark 16. to, "preach the gospel, Cast out demons, receive the power of the Holy Spirit in his baptism, and heal the sick".
JESUS CHRIST IS OUR HEAD
The head of our fellowship is Jesus Christ not the 501c3 government run church. The first amendment to the constitution guarantees us the freedom to worship as we see fit without government oversight from any government agency at any level.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
The King James Bible is our all sufficient rule of faith and practice. Our statement of faith sets forth the basic truths that we hold to be essential for this fellowship. It unites us with the same spirit, mind and body for fellowship among us. ( Rev. 3:8 Kept God's Word )
1. THE INSPIRED SCRIPTURES
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word's of God, the authoritative rule of faith and conduct as set out bu God for man. ( II Timothy 2:15; 3:15-17; II Peter 1:20,21)
2. THE ONE TRUE GOD
The one true God has revealed himself as the eternally self-existent "I AM', the creator of all things and the redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. ( Deut. 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matt. 28:19; Luke 3:22)
3. THE DEITY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God as declared in scriptures.
a. His Virgin Birth ( Matt. 1:23; Luke 1:31,35)
b. His Sinless Life ( Heb 7:26; I Peter 2:22)
c. His Miracles ( Acts 2:22; 10:38)
d. His substitution for us on the cross (I Cor.15:3; II Cor. 5:21)
e. His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matt. 28:6; Luke 24:39;
I Cor. 15:4)
f. His exaltation to the right hand of God ( Acts 1:9,11; 2:33,
Phil 2:9-11; Heb. 1:3)
4. THE FALL OF MAN
Man was created good and upright; for God said " Let us make man in our image, after our Likeness". Adam & Eve were forbidden to eat from the tree of good & evil and if they did they would die. Man willfully transgressed Gods law and fell this separated him from God and thereby incurred not only physical death but spiritual also. ( Gen. 1:26,27; 3:6; Romans 5:12-19)
5. THE SALVATION OF MAN
Man' only hope of connecting with God, and being set free from satan's hold over his, is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
1. Salvation is only received by man repenting for his sins, asking God for forgiveness and accepting the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ that was made on the cross. By washing away of our sins, regenerating and renewing our spirits, souls and bodies and being justified by the grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God to the hope of eternal life.(Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Eph. 2:8; Titus 2:11; 3:5-7)
2.The inward evidence of this salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit of God and the outward evidence to all men by the life lived for righteousness and true holiness. (Romans 8:16; Eph. 4:24; Titus 2:12)
6. FELLOWSHIP
A community of believers, led together by the Holy Spirit, for the purpose of perfecting the saints, for the work of the ministry, for edifying the body of Christ, until we all come into the unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God, being made perfect to the stature & nature of the fullness of Christ. Following the new commandment of Christ that we "love one another" as Christ so loved us. The place where we can exercise our gifts as give by God to each of us and not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as we see the end of time upon us, we must continue to assemble and all the more now as never before.
( John 13:43; Eph. 4:11-15; Col. 2:2; Heb. 10:23-25)
7. THE ORDINANCE OF WATER BAPTISM
Water baptism is following Jesus Christ as commanded in scripture by full immersion in water. This declares to the world that we have died with Christ and have been raised to a new life in God. Our obedience to this command declares that we are Water baptism is following Jesus Christ as commanded in scripture of Jesus Christ and turn to God and forsake the ways of the world. ( John 3:5; Matt.28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47; Romans 6:4; Phil. 2:13; 4:13)
8. HOLY COMMUNION
Jesus Christ gave this memorial to us to do in remembrance to him. It is made up of two elements, first of bread representing his body, the second element is the fruit of the vine, which represents his shed blood for us. This symbolizes our sharing in the divine nature of Jesus Christ, a memorial of his suffering and death and is required of all believers " till he returns". If you receive communion in an unworthy manner, unconfused sin, may have become sick and some die before their time.( Luke 22:19,20; I Cor. 11:23-32)
9. STEWARDSHIP
God gave us a command to bring all the tithe into the storehouse, that there may be supplies in his house. This commandment as given by God is taken to mean the local fellowship that a believer belongs too. This is the place where he receives spiritual food and fellowship. Every believer needs to consider that his time, talents, and goods need to be dedicated to God, this is our reasonable service to be good stewards. Jesus told us to"Seek the kingdom of God first and all else will be added unto you". Tithing is God's plan to support the fellowships and give a blessing to the cheerful giver. Jesus told the pharisees that tithing was to be done along with providing mercy, love and justice. The new Tithing is God's plan to support the fellowships and give a blessing to the cheerful giver. Jesus states that the tithing plan has been ordained by God for the support of the Gospel ministry. (Mal. 3:6-12; Matt. 22:37.38; III John 1:2; Matt. 6:33; Matt. 23;23: I Cor. 9:13,14)
10. THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe every believer has the right and privilege to fervently expect the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, as commanded by Jesus Christ. This out pouring of God's Holy Spirit and power began on the day of Pentecost and continues to this day. This experience comes with the endowment of God's power to live the Christian life and the power for service in God's kingdom here on earth. The Holy Spirit imparts gifts for the work of the ministry, for the walk as Christians before all men. This out pouring of God's power and gifts is an experience distinct from the new birth and is imparted by prayer and request of the believer from God.
(Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4,5; 2:1; I Cor. 12:1-31; Acts 8:12-17; 10:44,46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9)
11. THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT
As each believer receives the baptism with the Holy Spirit we are empowered to carry out God's will in evangelizing the world around us by the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. These gifts are given to each believer as the need arises at the will of the Holy Spirit. As the believer yields himself to the Holy Spirit he will be used in the gifts as God so directs, the gifts belong to God, we do not own them. Only yielded believers will be used , in the nine gifts, to reach the world around them for the glory of God. ( I Cor. 12:7-11; James 4:7,8)
12. EXPELLING EVIL SPIRITS
The Word of God clearly gives many examples of the work satan and his opposition to the plan of God for each believer and the kingdom of God. One of his evil works is to invade and indwell human bodies with fallen spirits known as demons. There purpose is to seek embodiment in mankind so they can carry out, through the human being, manifesting themselves to completer the evil plan of satan to destroy God's people and his kingdom here on earth. When a person is indwelt with these demon spirits they make him unclean as God's Word tells us. The Christian should always consider the indwelling demons as unnecessary, unwanted trespassers as undesirable. Jesus gave examples for us to follow in expelling them by commanding them to go in his name. Jesus commanded all believers to cast out these evil demon spirits. (Luke 4:33; mark 1:23;5:2; Matt. 12:43-45; Mark 1:21-26,39; 16:17; II Cor. 11:4)
13. DIVINE HEALING
God's plan for man was divine health, but after the fall of mankind in the garden man needed healing for sickness and accidents. Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Healing from sickness is provided for in the atonement on the cross by Jesus Christ. (Isa. 53:4,5; Matt.8:16,17; I Peter 2:24)
14. DISCIPLESHIP
Jesus gave us a command to make disciples of all nations. When a person becomes a christian, he becomes a disciple of Jesus Christ and he will begin to learn about the kingdom of God. God has set up in the body of Christ people that will help you, teach you and lead you into the fullness in Christ Jesus. True discipleship will lead you to a deep mutual bond with other believers and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in love and friendship. (Matt. 28:19, Eph. 4:11-16; John 15:15)
15. THE RESURRECTION OF THE BELIEVERS
For those who have died as Christians will be raised from the dead along with the believers who are still alive when Christ returns. This is the blessed hope and promise from God that we will be with God forever. ( I Thes. 4:16,17; Romans 8:23; Titus 2:13; I Cor. 15:51.52)
16. THE MILLENNIAL REIGN OF CHRIST
The return of Christ to this earth will be with his saints will be to reign over the earth for on thousand years. The millennial reign will bring the establishment of universal peace and the salvation of the nation Israel. (Zech.14:5; Matt. 24:27,30; Rev. 1:7; 19:11-14; 20:1-6; Isa. 11:6; Ps. 72:3-8; Micah 4:3,4: Ezk. 37:21,22; Zeph. 3:19,20; Romans 11:26,27)
17. THE GREAT WHITE THROWN FINAL JUDGMENT
There will be a final judgment, before God's great white thrown, in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the lambs book of life, together with the devil and all his evil kingdom, the Anti-Christ and the false profit will be cast into everlasting punishment in the lake of fire which burns with fire and brimstone, this is the second death. ( Matt.25:41-46; Rev. 19:20; 20:11-15; 21:7,8)
18.THE NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH
After the great white throne judgment, God creates a new heaven & earth, wherein we will live in righteousness. (II Peter 3:9-13; Rev. 21:1-8)
